A Closer Look at Our Process

Our process is designed to be simple and hassle-free, requiring minimal action on your part. However, several parties and steps are involved behind-the-scenes to make community solar accessible and successful.

Step 1. Program Promotion

Enerbridge provides clear, upfront education about residential community solar and, for those interested, connects individuals directly with trusted Program Managers.

Step 2. Enrollment & Subscription

Once connected with a Program Manager, the individual completes the required qualification and enrollment process. The process requires that they provide a copy of their most recent utility invoice and information including their full name, phone number and email address.

Upon successful enrollment, the individual becomes a "Subscriber" and the Program Manager then matches that Subscriber with a local solar program that has available capacity.

Step 3. Solar Farm Development & Generation

A Solar Farm Developer builds and maintains a solar farm. Once the Program Manager matches a Subscriber to that specific Solar Farm, the Solar Developer begins producing electricity and sending it to the local power grid.

The Electricity Utility receives the energy produced by the solar farm, which offsets traditional electricity with green/clean energy.

Step 4. Utility Credit Application

The Program Manager uses proprietary software to track the solar farm's energy production and the Subcriber's share of output to allocate the Solar Credits. Note, the amount per Solar Credit can fluctuate month-to-month based on seasonality.

The Program Manager works directly with the Electric Utility to ensure that the correct Solar Credits are applied to the Subscribers utility account, resulting in proper billing and reliable savings.

Step 5. Subscriber Benefits & Ongoing Support

The Subscriber begins receiving reduced electricity costs. Enerbridge provides ongoing support while the Program Manager monitors the project performance and Subscriber relations.
